Magalie Poulin

Founding lawyer and mediator

Called to the Quebec Bar in 1999, Magalie provided legal counsel to her clients in many different fields while working in a private law firm, namely labour law, and civil and commercial law.  She also held a position of Human Resources and Labour Relations Manager.  In this capacity, she set up a labour relations and attendance management department within an organization of over 7,000 employees.  She also acted as Human Resources Director in both the public and the private sectors.  Finally, Magalie worked as a human resources consultant and was involved in dispute management, internal inquiry and mediation.

Today, Magalie advises her clients on dispute prevention and management measures as well as on labour law issues.  She is called upon, on a regular basis, to conduct investigations in matters of psychological harassment, violence or misconduct and work climate diagnosis.  She also provides coaching to her clients in dispute management and offers a variety of training courses regarding various workplace issues.

As member of the Institut de médiation et d’arbitrage du Québec (IMAQ), Magalie also provides mediation services.

Catherine Gamache


Catherine earned a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Montreal in 2015.  During her studies, she provided services at a legal clinic under the responsibility of the University of Montreal which allowed her to be in contact with a broad clientele dealing with various issues. Motivated by a keen interest in human dynamics and its legal framework, Catherine chose to expand her expertise by completing a certificate in criminology with distinction at the University of Montreal after her bachelor’s degree.

Catherine started her career practicing law with a multidisciplinary firm where she carried out different mandates in civil and labour law.  In this capacity, she also advised her clients with regards to psychological harassment in the workplace.  Since joining HumaniLex Services conseils, she has frequently been involved in investigations related to psychological or sexual harassment in the workplace, working climate analysis, and labour relations issues.
